I can’t believe you’re enlisting tomorrow. I honestly forget sometimes that this is something every male in Kpop has to go through eventually, so when it was announced, it was because of this that I was surprised and not only because of how last minute it was. I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do for two years without you saying something out of the ordinary, your strangely hilarious charisma on stage, or your constant twitter updates. I was really starting to like you, so it’s made me sad that now you have to leave for so long.
Even though you seem like, to be blunt, an arrogant douche to some people, you really are kind. You care about your fans and you care about your fellow members and I admire that you’re able to speak your mind while still not losing sight of what you hold dear to you. You said that you don’t want us to wait for you, but really, how could we ever forget you? Even if it’s against your wishes, I’ll always remember you and eagerly await your return, as I’m sure your fans and the rest of Super Junior will.
I will respect your decision and accept it, as it’s pretty much inevitable. I don’t have much else to say besides to please, please, please be safe, and do your best. Make your country proud, yo.
